SIGNING IN

What is an FNid (or Foxtrot November ID)?

Your FNid is the account you use to sign in to the event website and the FNattendee app. You can use the same account for other participating events on the Foxtrot November platform.

Sign in with the email address associated with your ticket. Use your password, or choose an email sign-in code or social sign-in option if offered on the sign-in page.

Do I need to register for the event if I already have an FNid?

Yes. Your FNid identifies you; your registration gives you a ticket to a particular event. Creating an account does not register you for the Summit.

If someone purchased a ticket for you, they need to assign it to your email address, or provide instructions for claiming it. You do not need to buy another ticket if one has already been provided for you.

Why does signing in ask me to allow access to my information?

Each event website and the FNattendee app is its own application. Your FNid is the account that signs you in to all of them. The first time you sign in to a new event website or app, FNid asks whether that application may use your account to sign you in and connect you with your registration.

Allowing access does not sign you up for marketing or share your information with sponsors. It only lets that website or app recognize you. Marketing or sponsor-sharing choices, where an event offers them, are separate. See the event's privacy notice for details.

You may see this screen again when you sign in to another event's website, or when an application's requested permissions change. The screen lists exactly what is being requested; review it before continuing.

I forgot my password. What should I do?

Open the sign-in page from the event website or app, enter the email address you used for your account, and choose the password-reset option. Follow the instructions in the email you receive.

If the sign-in page offers an email code or your usual social sign-in provider, you can use that option instead. Check your spam or junk folder if the password reset email does not arrive in your main inbox.

Can I use a different email address to sign in?

Use the email address associated with your assigned ticket. Signing in with a different account can make your event or ticket appear to be missing. This can also happen if a social sign-in provider uses a different email address.

If you need help correcting an address or locating an existing account, contact [email protected].

REGISTRATION, ORDERS, AND TICKETS

Where can I find my ticket?

Sign in to the event website, then open My Orders/Tickets. Check Assigned Tickets if someone else purchased the ticket or you claimed it using a prepaid promo code.

In the FNattendee app, select the event and open My Tickets. Ready-to-use tickets can be opened to display a check-in QR code. If your registration needs more information, follow Manage Tickets to complete it on the event website.

You can also look for your ticket email. Check your spam or junk folder if you cannot find it.

Where can I find my order or manage tickets I purchased?

Open My Orders/Tickets on the event website, or follow the link in your order-confirmation email. Sign in with your FNid account/email address associated with the purchase.

The app's Manage Tickets button opens the website's ticket-management flow. Available actions, such as assigning or reassigning tickets, depend on the ticket's rules.

My employer or a sponsor provided my ticket. Do I need to purchase one?

No. Follow the instructions from the person providing your ticket. They may assign a ticket directly to your email address or give you a prepaid promo code to use during registration.

A ticket provided this way stays part of the purchaser's order, but is assigned to you. Use your own FNid and the email address associated with the ticket. Complete any remaining registration questions when prompted.

My ticket is missing. What should I check?

  1. Confirm that you are signed in with the email address associated with the ticket (the email address where you received notification)
  2. Confirm that you selected the correct event in the app.
  3. Check My Orders/Tickets on the website, including Assigned Tickets.
  4. If someone else bought your ticket, ask them to confirm that it has been assigned to you. Having a promo code alone does not mean you have claimed a ticket.
  5. If prompted, complete the remaining registration information through Manage Tickets.

If the ticket is still missing, contact [email protected]. Include your registration email and any order or ticket number you have. Please check with support before purchasing another ticket.

Why does my ticket say my registration is incomplete?

The event may require additional attendee information before your ticket is ready to use. Open Manage Tickets in the app or My Orders/Tickets on the website and complete the requested information.

Purchasing or claiming a ticket and completing the attendee information can be separate steps.

How do I collect my badge at the event?

Visit the Registration desk and follow the on-site check-in instructions. Have your ticket email or the check-in QR code from My Tickets ready. If you cannot locate your ticket, registration staff can help using your name and registration email address.

Complete any required registration information before arriving to help keep check-in moving.

Who can help with registration, ticket changes, or order questions?

Email [email protected]. Include your name, registration email, and order or ticket number if available. At the event, you can also visit the Registration desk.

USING THE FNattendee APP

Where do I download the app?

Download FNattendee, published by FNTECH, from the Apple App Store or Google Play. Check the store listing for device compatibility and install the latest available version.

Sign in with the same FNid account/email you use for your event registration.

What can I do in the app?

Use FNattendee to browse the schedule and speakers, build your personal schedule, view ready-to-use tickets and their check-in QR codes, and find event information. Depending on the event's setup, you can also explore sponsors and show maps, connect with people you meet, and chat with your connections.

Ticket purchases and full ticket management take place through the event website.

Why does the app say “No shows yet,” or not show my event?

The app shows participating events available to your signed-in account. Confirm that you have registered or been assigned a ticket using that account's email address, then pull down on the show list to refresh it.

An event also needs to be enabled for the app. If your registration is confirmed but the event is still missing, contact [email protected].

How do I switch between events?

Open the app menu and choose Switch Show, then select the event you want to view. Check the selected event if the schedule or tickets do not look familiar.

Does the app work without an internet connection?

The app saves information on your device so previously loaded content, such as the schedule, can remain available with poor or no connectivity. Previously loaded ticket QR codes are also available offline.

Before arriving, sign in, select your event, and open the schedule and My Tickets while connected. An internet connection is needed for initial sign-in, fresh event information, and sending or receiving messages. Saved information may be out of date until the app reconnects.

How do I find rooms, exhibitors, or practical event details?

Open a session to see its location. Use Show maps for maps provided by the organizer, and Sponsors for participating sponsor information. Open Information for available event details, contact information, and help.

The content available in these sections depends on the event.

SCHEDULE AND SESSIONS

How do I add a session to My Schedule?

On the website, open Schedule, find the session, and select its + or add-to-schedule control. Open My Schedule to view your saved sessions.

In the app, open Schedule and tap the + beside a session. Use My Schedule to show your saved sessions. Select the checked control to remove a session.

Sign in with the same FNid on the website and app to use the same personal schedule.

Will my schedule sync between the website and app?

Your personal schedule is linked to your account. Use the same FNid and event on both. The app can save schedule changes offline and sync them when connectivity returns, so allow time for changes to appear on another device.

If something is missing, reconnect, refresh or reopen the schedule, and check that you are viewing the correct event.

Does adding a session to My Schedule reserve a seat?

Treat My Schedule as your personal plan. Adding a session does not replace a separate registration, RSVP, ticket, or access requirement shown for that session. Check the session details and follow any booking instructions provided by the organizer.

Where can I find slides or recordings?

Check the session details for materials the organizer has made available. Availability varies by session, and materials may be added after the event. Not every session will have slides or a recording available.

Profile, privacy, and networking

How do I update my profile?

On the website, sign in and open My Profile from the navigation or account menu. In the app, open Profile & Privacy. Update the available fields and save your changes.

Profile changes do not necessarily change the name or other information on an existing ticket. Use My Orders/Tickets or contact registration support for ticket corrections.

Who can see my profile information?

In the app, Profile & Privacy lets you choose which profile details your connections can see, including your email, phone number, picture, bio, and social links. Save any changes you make.

These controls govern the networking profile. Event registration information is also used by the organizer to manage your attendance. Consult the event's privacy notice for details about registration data and any sponsor-sharing choices.

How is my speaker profile different from my attendee profile?

Speaker information helps attendees learn about presenters and their sessions. If you are speaking at the event, your information is kept in two places:

  • Speaker profile: The name, biography, photo, company, title, and social links you provide through FNspeaker.mgmt. This information is public and may appear on event websites or in the app. Speaker email addresses and phone numbers are not made public.
  • FNid and registration: Your sign-in account and event ticket. This information is private and is used by the organizer to manage your attendance.

Attendee networking privacy settings do not make your public speaker biography private. Contact the event's speaker-management team if you need a speaker-profile correction.

How do I connect with another attendee?

Where networking is enabled, open Networking, choose Connect, and use Scan badge QR to scan the badge of someone you meet. You can also display your badge QR in the app for them to scan.

Follow the connection-request prompts. Once the connection is accepted, you can chat if messaging is enabled. FNattendee does not provide a browsable directory of attendees.

Why does the app ask for camera access?

Camera access allows you to scan another attendee's badge QR code. If you previously declined it, you can enable camera access for FNattendee in your phone's settings when you want to use the scanner.

Can I turn off chat, block someone, or report a problem?

Yes. In Profile & Privacy, turn off Allow people to chat with me and save your change to disable sending and receiving chat messages.

Use the available controls in a conversation to block a connection or report inappropriate behavior. You can also contact [email protected]. If a report opens an email draft, review it and send it to submit the report.

Why am I not receiving message notifications?

Check both the app and your phone:

  • In Profile & Privacy, check Allow notifications and save your changes.
  • In your phone's settings, allow notifications for FNattendee.
  • Check whether Focus, Do Not Disturb, or another device setting is silencing alerts.
  • Confirm that chat is enabled and that you have an internet connection.

You can still open the app to check your conversations. Saving a session to My Schedule should not be treated as a promise of a timed reminder.

How do I request account deletion?

In the app, open Profile & Privacy and choose Request account deletion, or email [email protected] from the address associated with your FNid.

This is a request concerning your FNid across the platform, not just removal of the app from your phone. Support will guide you through the process and explain its effect on your account and registrations.

TROUBLESHOOTING AND SUPPORT

Which browser should I use for the event website?

Use an up-to-date browser. If you have trouble in your usual browser, try the latest Chrome, Safari, or Firefox. On a phone, open the website in a full browser rather than the small browser built into an email or social app.

The website is not loading or sign-in is not working. What should I try?

  1. Check your internet connection and reload the page.
  2. Close duplicate sign-in tabs and start again from the event website.
  3. Try another up-to-date browser.
  4. If a browser extension appears to be interfering, pause it for this site and try again.
  5. If the problem continues, clear this site's cached data and cookies, then sign in again. This will sign you out of the site.

Contact [email protected] if you still need help.

The app looks out of date or something is not working. What should I try?

Confirm that you selected the correct event and have an internet connection. Pull down to refresh where available, then close and reopen the app. Check your app store for an update.

If your event or ticket access still looks wrong, sign out and back in with the email associated with your ticket. Do this while connected to the internet.

How do I make the text larger?

On the website, use your browser's zoom controls. In the app, try your phone's text-size and accessibility settings. If content becomes difficult to read or controls are cut off, contact support with your device details and a screenshot.

What information should I include when contacting technical support?

Email [email protected] with:

  • The event name and the email address you use to sign in.
  • What you were trying to do and what happened instead.
  • The page or app screen where the problem occurred.
  • Your device and operating-system version.
  • Your browser version, or the app version shown at the bottom of Information.
  • A screenshot or the exact error message, if available.

Do not include your password or an email sign-in code.

Who should I contact about using the platform for my own event?

Email [email protected] with a few details about your event.

Powered by FNTECH.
